Position Description

The SLAC Elementary Particle Physics Theory Group expects to make a Research Associate postdoctoral appointment for a 3-year term beginning October 1, 2024 or earlier. The focus of the position is research in perturbative Quantum Chromodynamics and precision LHC phenomenology related to the research of Bernhard Mistlberger. Other senior members of our group are: Lance Dixon, Alexander Friedland, Rebecca Leane, Michael Peskin, Thomas Rizzo, Philip Schuster and Natalia Toro. The interests of our group cover all areas of particle physics and quantum field theory.

Prior to starting the position, successful applicants must provide evidence of a PhD degree in theoretical physics, or confirmation of completion of the PhD degree requirements.
