Lawrence Berkeley National Lab’s (LBNL) Nuclear Science Division has an opening for a Career-Track Research Scientist, Radiation Detection and Imaging to join the team.


In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the development of new concepts and technologies related to radiation detection and radiation imaging with a focus on data analytics which can be applied in areas such as basic physics experiments, radiological safety as well as nuclear security and non-proliferation, and medical imaging. This work will be embedded in ongoing efforts in the Applied Nuclear Physics Program within the Nuclear Science Division.

Salary:

This position is expected to pay between a targeted range of $8708-$13,545 (Career-Track Level), and $10,199-$15,864 (Career Level) per month depending upon the candidate’s skills, knowledge, and abilities, including education, certifications, and years of experience.
