Position Description
Two postdoctoral positions are currently available in my group at the Department of Liberal Study, Kangwon National University at Samcheok, South Korea. We are interested in a wide range of subjects of computational condensed matter physics including quantum Monte Carlo, Restricted Boltzmann Machine, Machine Learning, D-Wave Quantum Annealer and Quantum Machine Learning. Recent research topics are focused on development of computational tools in combination with machine learning and D-Wave Quantum Annealer. The position will be initially for two years. The salary would be 37000-43000(USD) per year according to qualifications. The starting date of the positions is around July. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in computational physics, quantum computing(IBM-Q) or closely related fields before the beginning of the position.
