The Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Notre Dame announces a postdoctoral position in Theoretical High Energy Physics to begin in Fall 2023. The position is for two years but can be renewed for a third contingent on funding and performance.
The faculty of the Notre Dame High Energy Theory group includes Antonio Delgado, Chris Kolda, Adan Martin and Yushin Tsai. We are joined by a large experimental group with active participation in CMS, DUNE, and IceCube, and with whom we interact regularly. Our group also shares many interests in common with ND's astrophysics and cosmology group, and maintains close ties to Fermilab and to neighboring institutions in Chicago and the greater Michigan-Illinois-Indiana region.
Applicants should submit (electronically) a curriculum vitae, including a list of publications and a statement of research interests, and arrange to have letters of recommendation sent by three senior physicists. These correspondences should be submitted by December 15, 2022 in order to receive full attention.
The Department is committed to diversifying its faculty, staff, postdoctoral researchers, and students and encourages applications from women and members of traditionally underrepresented groups. Moreover, Notre Dame prohibits discrimination against veterans or disabled qualified individuals, and requires affirmative action by covered contractors to employ and advance veterans and qualified individuals with disabilities in compliance with 41 CFR 60-741.5(a) and 41 CFR 60-300.5(a). |
