Position Description:    

Assistant / Associate / Full Professor Level Department of Pathology

The University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School and the Department of Pathology invite applications for Tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate and Full Professor Level. Rank will be commensurate with ability and experience. The position will be highly competitive with regard to start-up funds, laboratory space, and salary. The candidate will be expected to develop and maintain an innovative, externally funded research program. We are seeking individuals with a PhD and/or MD with research interests in Immunology to complement a growing Immunobiology research program, including Drs. Kenneth Rock, Suzy Swain, Larry Stern, Joonsoo Kang, Eric Huseby, Andrea Reboldi, Milena Bogunovic, Gowthaman Uthaman and Kiera Clayton. Current faculty interests within the department include, but are not limited to, immunobiology of receptors; signal transduction and gene regulation; innate immunity, immunity to pathogens; mucosal immunology; tolerance and autoimmunity; and tumor immunobiology using cellular, biophysical and computational approaches. Selection will be based on excellence in research and the potential to maintain an outstanding research program.
