Position Description

The Department of Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics (http://www.bumc.bu.edu/busm-pm) and the Department of Physiology & Biophysics (https://www.bumc.bu.edu/phys-biophys) at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine are seeking to recruit a new faculty member at the Assistant Professor level with an innovative research program on epigenetic mechanisms of substance use disorders. We are looking for a leading expert in the fields of epigenetics, cellular metabolism, and genomic studies of addiction, with a strong emphasis on translational relevance. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in chromatin biology and cell type-specific molecular investigation of drug-related changes in the brain, and will have a proven track record of innovative research and funding in these areas.
