The Theoretical Nuclear Physics subgroup at the Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica led by Dr. Di-Lun Yang invites applications for a postdoctoral position. The research subgroup currently comprises three postdocs, Geraint Evans, Haesom Sung, and Ritesh Ghosh. Applicants with particular research interests in heavy-ion collisions, QCD at finite temperature and density, quantum field theories with strong fields, and neutron-star physics are welcomed to apply. The initial appointment will be for two years, with possible extensions depending on funding availability and performance. The successful candidate is expected to be involved in academic activities of the High-Energy-Theory group (https://www.phys.sinica.edu.tw/group_hep_theory_en.php) and encouraged to collaborate and interact with other research groups in Taiwan or international institutes. The start date is flexible but no later than August 1st, 2026, to guarantee the full two-year term, while the earlier arrival in 2026 is preferred. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in physics or astrophysics when starting the appointment. A complete application should include a curriculum vitae, a list of publications, a statement of research interests and plans, and at least two letters of reference.
