The Department of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies in the School of Arts and Sciences at Brandeis University invites applications for the two-year Helaine B. Allen and Cynthia Berenson Postdoctoral Fellowship at the rank of Lecturer beginning in the academic year 2023-2024. We invite applicants whose work focuses broadly on the field of Feminist Science and Technology Studies (STS). We welcome a variety of disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives and are especially interested in scholars who bring an intersectional approach to their intellectual work. Specific areas of research could include Disability Studies, Feminist Bioethics, Gender and Data Science, Health Inequalities, Reproductive Health, Feminist Ecologies, and Environmental and Climate Justice. Duties entail teaching one course each semester in the candidate’s specialty and in the above-stated field. The Fellow will receive a salary of $62,000 plus benefits, a modest moving expense allowance of $1,500, and a research fund of up to $4,000 per year.
