Cornell University – Division of Nutritional Sciences

The Division of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell is seeking candidates for a Lecturer position during the period August 16, 2022 through May 31, 2023 with the possibility of renewal.  This position will be part-time at 75% effort and is eligible for Contract College benefits.

The responsibilities will involve collaboratively developing course content to update an introductory course to support the Nutritional Sciences major and co-teach this course during the Fall 2022 term.  In addition, you will co-teach the courses Regulation of Macronutrient Metabolism in fall 2022, and Human Nutrition and Nutrient Metabolism and Micronutrients: Function, Homeostasis, and Assessment in spring 2023. Serve as an academic advisor to undergraduate students in the undergraduate majors offered through the Division of Nutritional Sciences.


  • PhD in Nutritional Sciences.
  • A least 1 year of experience teaching undergraduate courses in higher education, particularly in the areas of nutritional biochemistry and molecular nutrition.
  • Ability to work with a team of instructors to develop and deliver course content.
  • Experience serving as an academic advisor to undergraduate students in nutritional sciences.
