Position Description:

Perform protein expression screens and large-scale purifications of DNA-associated complexes such as histone modifying complexes, sample screening via negative stain imaging, and cryo-EM imaging and data acquisition. He or she is also expected to analyze images, refine data to produce 3D maps and interpret the density using atomic modeling. He/she is responsible for conceptualizing research plans and designing experiments with a high degree of independence. He/she is responsible for producing figures, manuscripts, and giving presentations formally and informally.
