Description

Health Impacts Partnership + Program Lead

Faculty, staff, and students within Cornell Public Health support public health improvement and positive health impacts via community engagement, capacity building assistance, and applied action research. This work is implemented in curricular, co-curricular, and non-curricular settings, resulting in meaningful growth experiences for students, expanded capacity for partners, and translational research and practice opportunities for faculty. To support this growing area of work, we are recruiting a Health Impacts Partnership + Program Lead (Senior Extension Associate) to foster and build multi-sectoral partnerships, to support public health workforce capacity building, to support evaluation and documentation and dissemination of processes used and outputs/impacts seen.

Essential Functions

Required Qualifications


The salary range for this position is $70,400 to $130,000 and will be commensurate with credentials and experience. This position is eligible for benefits.

Offers higher than the published salary range might be considered to meet unique circumstances, qualifications, academic discipline, and experience. 

Please note that this is a one-year term that is renewable up to a maximum of 5 years.

The position is based in Cornell University’s Ithaca campus and is a fully in-person role requiring frequent interaction with students, faculty, and community partners.

Pay Ranges:

The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined considering the following criteria:

  • Prior relevant work or industry experience.
  • Education level to the extent education is relevant to the position.
  • Academic Discipline (faculty pay ranges reflects 9-month annual salary)
  • Unique applicable skills.
