The Department of Art, Art History & Visual Studies at Duke University invites candidates to apply for a tenured/tenure-track faculty position in Early Modern Europe/Atlantic World at the associate professor level.

 

We seek applications from individuals whose work makes significant contributions to scholarship on Early Modern European art and/or architecture and also engages in the art or architecture of a related part of the Atlantic world.

 

Applicants should demonstrate a dedication to pedagogy, inclusive classrooms, and courses that incorporate critical approaches to the history of art. Candidates submitting all required materials by December 1, 2024 will receive full consideration.
