Position Description
The Sherwood group is seeking to hire a Postdoctoral Associate to complete a project examining the role of the papilin extracellular matrix molecule in regulating type IV collagen turnover. The project will involve work with the C. elegans model system and include molecular genetic studies, quantitative live imaging, laser ablation, genetic analysis, transgenics and biochemical approaches. Conceptually, the work will require a deep understanding of extracellular matrix and cell biology.
