Projects focus on the genetic and molecular basis for changes embryonic patterning and cell fate specification that accompanied a major life history transition. We are looking for someone with experience in evolutionary developmental biology and strong computational skills, ideally with experience in echinoderm systems. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in molecular biology, evolutionary biology, genetics or related fields and evidence of strong research productivity. The Postdoctoral Assocaite will be responsible for: 1) designing and conducting laboratory work using molecular biology and functional genomic approaches, 2) analysis of new and previously published data, and 3) preparation of results for publication. The ideal candidate will have strong management and organizational skills.
