Position Description
The Johnsen lab at Duke University is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to investigate the ultrastructural and structural correlates of muscle transparency in several species of freshwater fish. Applicants should hold a PhD in Biology or a related field and have experience working with various forms of imagery such as confocal, microCT, and possibly lightsheet and SEM/TEM. We are particularly interested in self-motivated individuals who can interact well with a multi-national and multi-disciplinary team. The position can start as early as July 1, 2026.
