Position Description
We seek a Research Associate to conduct research on RNA-editing in hornworts. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Plant Evolutionary Biology, Bioinformatics, Phylogenetics, or related fields and evidence of strong research productivity. The Research Associate will be responsible for: 1) conducting laboratory research, 2) data analysis, and 3) preparation of results for publication. The Research Associate will also assist the PI (Fay-Wei Li) in overseeing lab projects and helping to train graduate students and undergraduates. Opportunities will be available for the Research Associate to explore their own side projects related to the overall goals of the lab research program.
