A postdoctoral position focusing on the visualization of ultrafast movements is available at Duke University in the Patek Lab (Biology Department) and the Horstmeyer Lab (Biomedical Engineering Department). Requirements: Ph.D. degree or successfully defended Ph.D. dissertation in biology or in another science or engineering field incorporating organism-focused research, Publication record in biology or biology-related topics, Previous experience in at least one of the following areas: invertebrate field work (marine and terrestrial arthropods), kinematics, optics, biophysics, or comparative biomechanics

The candidate should demonstrate: Experience in field-based collection of study organisms, Interest in the mechanics and visualization of biological movement, Engagement in effective interdisciplinary research collaborations
