Position Description
The Triangle Center for Evolutionary Medicine (TriCEM) at Duke University seeks an Associate in Research to begin as early as July 15, 2026. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to secure funding for TriCEM initiatives and implement initiatives, including outcomes from TriCEM’s Evolutionary Medicine Summer Institute. The position requires self-direction and the ability to work effectively with other team members both at Duke and other TriCEM-affiliated universities. Duties include identifying funding opportunities, drafting grant applications, compiling necessary documents for applications, and working with Duke ORS to submit the materials. The Associate in Research will also help implement manuscript writing, protocol development, and deployment of a Climate and Health Structured Toolkit developed during TriCEM's Evolutionary Medicine Summer Institute.
