Position Description
The Nuclear Theory Research Group in the Department of Physics at Duke University invites applications for an Associate in Research position. The successful candidates will work with Prof. Steffen Bass. This position will perform calculations on the time-evolution of relativistic heavy-ion collisions utilizing relativistic fluid-dynamics with quark flavor relaxation times. The position will also work on drafting a publication on the outcome of a Bayesian calibration and documenting the required computer codes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in physics or a related field by the start date. Master’s or Ph.D. degree preferred.
