Position Description

The Department of Theater Studies at Duke University seeks applications for a non-renewable, full-time Artist in Residence to teach in Fall 2026: one section of Introduction to Acting, one section of Musical Theater Workshop, and one section of Mainstage Production (direct our Mainstage production of Witch).

M.F.A. in Directing or a related field is required. Teaching experience in Acting and Musical Theater is preferred.
