Department of Computer Science Georgia State University Multiple Tenure-Track Assistant Professors
The Department of Computer Science (http://www.csds.gsu.edu/) at Georgia State University (GSU) is seeking to fill multiple tenure-track Assistant Professor positions by the Fall of 2022. The Computer Science Department offers programs leading to the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Data Science. As the Department is expanding its research profile, candidates with research interests and expertise in areas of Software Engineering, Systems, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science are encouraged to apply.
Applicants are expected to have the following basic qualifications: 1) Ph.D. in computer science or closely related field, 2) ability to establish and maintain a successful research program, 3) ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, 4) ability to work in a large, collaborative effort. Applications should include 1) a CV, including a complete publication list, 2) a statement of research interests and a description of how this research is aligned with the above research initiative, 3) a statement of teaching experience and philosophy, 4) a statement on inclusion and diversity in academia, and 5) contact information for at least three references.
