Georgetown University, Theology Department, invites applications for three (3) full time, Non-Tenure-Line positions, each as three-year Assistant Teaching Professors. Each position will involve teaching The Problem of God, one of two core curricular courses in Theology required of all Georgetown undergraduates. Applicants from a range of disciplines will be considered, including but not limited to applicants who can offer courses in one or more of the following areas: Systematic, political, and liberation theologies, Latin American, Native American, African-American, feminist/womanist/mujerista, or ethnographic studies in and approaches to theology and religion. Start date is August 2019; Ph.D is required by start date.

Since this is a teaching position, applications will be reviewed for evidence of teaching excellence and experience. The teaching load for each position is 3/3 during the academic year; 4 of these courses will be sections of The Problem of God (for more information about The Problem of God, see
