The experimental astroparticle group VEGA (https://km3net.ific.uv.es/km3net) at IFIC, Valencia, Spain, invites applications for a 3+1-year Ph.D. fellowship to join the KM3NeT experiment (http://km3net.org) and work at the search of beyond the Standard Model (BSM) physics with neutrinos. IFIC (Instituto de Física Corpuscular, http://webific.ific.uv.es/web/en) is the largest particle physics research centre in Spain and was awarded by the Program "Severo Ochoa Centers of Excellence". The experimental astroparticle team at IFIC has a longstanding experience with KM3NeT and ANTARES. Our group has led the main analyses looking for dark matter in both collaborations and coordinates the corresponding working group. The first 50+ lines of KM3NeT are currently taking data and more will be deployed in the coming months, which opens new possibilities in searches for physics beyond the Standard Model with the analysis of neutrino data. The successful candidate must hold a Masters’ degree in physics completed by 1/1/2025, and would start their Ph.D. project at the University of Valencia in the academic year 2024/2025.
