The Assistant Teaching Faculty is an active member of the faculty in the Counseling Psychology program. This position is a renewable, non-tenure track, 12-month position with a competitive compensation and benefits package. This individual will provide leadership and clinical supervision of mental health services at the Community Voices Clinic (CVC), a community-based mental health clinic serving the South Bethlehem community operated through the Counseling Psychology program. Through the CVC, the Counseling Psychology program offers English- and Spanish-language clinical services to youth and family while also providing opportunities for training to our graduate students. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and implement a business plan that leads to sustainable and excellent mental health service delivery for the South Bethlehem community. 
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the clinic, including record keeping and scheduling. work with stakeholders in the community, including Bethlehem Area School District, area hospitals, and Lehigh University, to ensure community needs are addressed. 
  • To identify and secure additional funding. 
  • Provide excellent supervision, mentoring, and guidance to future psychologists and counselors, using culturally-competent and social justice oriented pedagogies.
  • Work closely with program faculty to ensure CVC operations are consistent with program philosophy and goals. *Attend to risk management. 
  • Other responsibilities as indicated by programmatic need and the Program or Training Director. 
Required Qualifications: 
  • Ph.D., PsyD., or Ed.D. in Counseling Psychology or related field 
  • Licensed Psychologist in PA
