The Faculty of Science and Medicine of the University of Fribourg/Switzerland and the Department of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Cardiology invite applications for an open-rank position asProfessor of Endocrinology (90-100%)
Qualified applicants must have an outstanding track record of successful independent research in the field of endocrinology. The successful candidate will develop an internationally recognized competitive research program sustained by external funding.
Significant teaching experience at university level of human general endocrinology and endocrine physiology is mandatory. Courses are taught in French and/or German.
The candidate will be responsible for the endocrinology teaching at the University of Fribourg.

The University of Fribourg is bilingual (French/German). Knowledge of the second language (level B1 oral) is expected. If this is not the case, it must be acquired within two years of taking up the position.
