Position Description:

The Oklahoma State University high-energy physics group is seeking highly qualified applicants for a postdoctoral researcher. The successful candidate will work on the ATLAS experiment at CERN. The Oklahoma State ATLAS group is involved in searches for new physics, measurements of the top quark and Higgs boson, b-tagging calibration, boosted object tagging, and the Phase 2 ATLAS Inner Tracker (ITk) upgrade.  

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in experimental high energy physics or closely related field. The candidate is expected to play a leading role in physics analysis, combined performance, and mentoring of graduate students. The position is expected to involve residency at CERN (or frequent travel to CERN). The expected term will be 3-4 years, contingent upon satisfactory performance and funding availability.
