Wallenberg-Bienenstock Professorship
Stanford University and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Stanford University and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory are seeking candidates for the Wallenberg-Bienenstock Professorship. This endowed chair position, at tenure level, is joint between the Photon Science faculty at SLAC and a relevant Stanford University science or engineering department. Applicants should hold an earned doctorate in a core science or engineering discipline and should have a demonstrated record of outstanding scientific accomplishment. In addition to strong intellectual leadership in research within the candidate’s field, a successful applicant will be able to contribute significantly to research priorities in materials or chemical sciences at SLAC, a Department of Energy Laboratory hosting the LCLS x-ray free electron and other unique capabilities.
