Title: Assistant Professor, Biological Sciences or Chemistry Department: Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics Division: School of Health and Natural Science Reports to: Chair of Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics Status: Full-time; Tenure-Track; 9-Month appointment (to commence August, 2019) Position Summary The Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at Dominican University of California invites outstanding applicants for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the field of biology or chemistry, with experience in biochemistry, chemical biology, molecular biology, cell biology, or bioinformatics. The successful candidate is expected to teach a variety of biology and/or chemistry courses and demonstrate excellence in teaching, develop a strong research program supported by extramural funding involving undergraduate students, and establish cross-disciplinary collaborations both inside and outside the University.
