Position Description:    

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position at Lehigh University as part of a recently awarded $2.5 million grant (https://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2018-06/lu-lea062618.php) for a Region 3 University Transportation Center (UTC, https://r3utc.psu.edu/). We seek outstanding candidates in Intelligent Transportation Systems to join a highly-collaborative team, working with students of Learning and Optimization over Networks and Graphs Laboratory (http://liangcheng.info/long-lab/) and interacting with faculty of Institute for Cyber Physical Infrastructure and Energy (https://www1.lehigh.edu/research/interdisciplinary-research-institutes/cyber-physical-infrastructure-energy) and UTC, which will work to advance this exciting area. This researcher will apply techniques in crowdsensing, edge/cloud computing, machine learning, and data science in intelligent transportation systems such as road infrastructure monitoring and management. It is expected that applicants will have significant first author publications in crowdsensing, edge/cloud computing, machine learning, data science, or a related topic. 

Successful applicants will have a Ph.D. in a relevant field. In addition, demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team are required. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
