The Department of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies is looking for candidates to teach one undergraduate course on Israeli cinema in Fall 2019. The successful candidate will have completed a graduate degree (M.A. or Ph.D.) in a pertinent field: Film and Media Studies, Comparative Literature, Middle Eastern Studies, etc. Candidates should have a native or near-native command of Hebrew and of English, be thoroughly familiar with the corpus of contemporary Israeli cinema as well as with film analysis, and preferably have teaching experience at the college level.
