The Department of Neurobiology and Behavior at Stony Brook University is currently recruiting two tenure-track faculty members at the Assistant or Associate Professor levels. One of the two positions is co-sponsored by the SUNY Empire Innovation Program and is part of a University wide initiative supporting research on the neurobiology of aging. Outstanding candidates studying brain aging will thus be strongly encouraged to apply. For the other position, we are considering outstanding molecular, cellular or systems neuroscientists. Both positions will be supported by exceptional packages, which include generous start-up funding, newly renovated lab space, state-funded salary and benefits. Successful candidates will join an interactive, diverse group at Stony Brook University and its affiliated institutions, and will actively contribute to the Department’s programs in undergraduate, graduate and medical education. Applicants must have a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent degree, and at least two years of postdoctoral experience.
