The Physics Department at Temple University anticipates an opening for a tenure-track or tenured faculty appointment, to begin July 1, 2020, subject to administrative approval and budgetary constraints. Candidates must hold a doctorate in an appropriate field, have demonstrated the ability to perform excellent research, and show promise for high-quality physics teaching.
Our Department has active and well-funded groups in experimental, computational, and theoretical AMO, condensed matter, and nuclear physics. Candidates in these and other subfields of physics are welcome to apply, especially those who can diversify our research and/or attract students at the undergraduate, masters, or doctoral level.
