Position Description:

A junior faculty, Instructor, position is open at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in the laboratory of John Landers, Ph.D. to study the pathogenesis of ALS and the development of therapeutics.

The Instructor will work closely with Professor Landers on defining new directions for the Landers’ lab and advise research fellows and students on experimental design and data analysis. The instructor will work closely with the PI on research laboratory management and regulatory compliance.  The optimal candidate will have experience in molecular biology, neurology, murine models and high-throughput screening approaches. Applicants should have PhD and/or MD degree and at least 3 years of relevant postdoctoral experience.
