The Program in Molecular Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School is seeking an outstanding individual for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty member at the Instructor level.

The candidate must have a Ph.D. degree in the biological sciences and more than 4 years of experience in nematode research. Preference exists for candidates that possess laboratory experience in vitro and in vivo expertise with hookworms and whipworms, COPAS biosorter experience, sorting of parasitic hookworm larvae, C. elegans genetics and genetic screens, and anthelmintic drug screening. Strong organizational skills and laboratory management experience are desirable, including experience mentoring early stage students in laboratory research technique and data analyses.
