The ARC Centre of Excellence in Future Low-Energy Electronics Technologies (FLEET) is an international innovator in novel electronics technologies. The centre brings together more than 40 world-leading experts who will apply cutting edge science to develop a new generation of ultra-low power electronic devices.

We are seeking an exemplary Research Fellow to join our FLEET team to conduct research in theoretical condensed matter physics. The key research areas are (1) Physics of excitons and exciton-polaritons; (2) Ultracold atomic gases. There will be a particular focus on understanding and probing correlations both in and out of equilibrium.

You will actively contribute to conference and seminar papers as well as publications with your research, be an adviser to post-graduate students within your field of research, contribute at least 20 hours per year towards outreach activities and actively participate in FLEET research.

The successful candidate must hold a PhD in theoretical condensed matter physics or a closely related field from a recognised university. Ideally, you will have a record of high-impact, peer-reviewed publications, excellent problem solving capabilities and a willingness to learn new skills.
