Position Description: |
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research associate position in the Dynamical Systems Lab (DSL, http://engineering.unl.edu/dsl) in the Mechanical and Materials Engineering (MME) department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the area of dynamical systems methods for fluid mechanics. DSL is a highly interdisciplinary group focussing on dynamical systems and control methods for problems in mechanics, large-scale multi-agent robotics, and astrodynamics, among other areas. We are looking for enthusiastic researchers with strong mathematical background, and experience in fundamental theoretical or computational research in microfluidics, active matter or turbulent flow. A Ph.D. in applied math, physics, or engineering is required. About UNL and MME: University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a member of the 'Big-Ten', is the flagship land grant university of Nebraska. UNL is classified within the Carnegie “R1-Doctoral Universities: Highest Research Activity” category.
