Position Description: |
Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research associate position in the Dynamical Systems Lab (DSL, http://engineering.unl.edu/dsl) in the Mechanical and Materials Engineering (MME) department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. We are looking for enthusiastic researchers with strong mathematical background, and experience in fundamental theoretical or computational research in microfluidics, soft active matter and/or turbulent flow. A Ph.D. in applied math, physics, or engineering is required. About DSL: DSL is a highly interdisciplinary group focussing on dynamical systems and control methods for problems in mechanics, large-scale multi-agent robotics, and astrodynamics, among other areas. About UNL and MME: University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a member of the 'Big-Ten', is the flagship land grant university of Nebraska. UNL is classified within the Carnegie “R1-Doctoral Universities: Highest Research Activity” category. The MME department has a vibrant and growing program in both dynamical systems and fluid mechanics.
