Postdoctoral Position in Galaxy Cluster Cosmology

The Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology (KIPAC) at Stanford University and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory has an opening for postdoctoral researcher working in the area of galaxy cluster cosmology.

The galaxy cluster team at KIPAC are engaged broadly across most areas of galaxy cluster astrophysics and cosmology, including major science collaborations such as the Dark Energy Survey, the LSST Dark Energy Science Collaboration, Euclid, the South Pole Telescope, the Simons Observatory, CMB-S4, Athena and Lynx.

The appointment is expected to begin in or around Fall 2020 and will be for three years, subject to annual review. The position offers excellent salary and benefits (https://postdocbenefits.stanford.edu).

Applicants should have, or be in the process of completing, a Ph.D. in astrophysics, physics or a related discipline. They should possess a strong academic background and provide evidence of outstanding research potential.
