Position Overview: Merrimack College's School of Education & Social Policy invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Practice position, non- tenure track, in the Education and Community Studies Department to begin in the Spring of 20 20. The Education and Community Studies Department houses both undergraduate and graduate programs. The position will be within the Human Development and Human Services (HDHS) Program, which serves a large population of undergraduate students. The faculty member hired in this position will have primary teaching and advising responsibilities for undergraduate HDHS courses. This position is contingent on final budgetary approval.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess a doctorate in Human Development or closely related field, and should have higher education teaching experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in both Human Development and Human Services. Doctoral candidates, who will complete a degree in 2020, will be considered.
