Boston University -- ECE Teaching Faculty

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boston University invites applications for a non-tenure-track teaching faculty position beginning either spring or fall 2020. The faculty member will direct a growing ECE Master’s degree program and will be expected to teach courses in related areas with emphasis on introductory programming, software engineering, data structures, operating systems, networks and algorithms, and machine learning. This opportunity is designed for an individual with a strong commitment to delivering excellent courses at all levels in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

This position requires an advanced degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field with preference given to candidates with a PhD. Ideal candidates will have a track record of excellence in teaching. Evidence of prior experience with mentoring students, teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, administration of academic programs, and/or pursuing additional research is of particular interest. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to pursue professional development and learning opportunities, and participate in research activities in collaboration with other Boston University Engineering faculty.
