Georgia Institute of Technology Chair, School of Computational Science and Engineering The new Chair will be expected to further build upon the many accomplishments, professional relationships, and interdisciplinary strides that already exist in the School by providing strategic vision and effective leadership. We seek candidates with a strong commitment to education, a distinguished research and funding record, and a proven ability to work well with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and students, as well as other campus administrators and leaders.

About the School of Computational Science and Engineering (CSE):
The College of Computing, where the School of CSE resides, was established in 1990 as one of the first Colleges of Computing in the nation at a R1 university. Its graduate program is currently ranked 8th nationally by U.S. News & World Report, as well as 8th in the world by The Times Higher Education World University Ranking. The School of CSE currently has 20 academic faculty, in addition to numerous research scientists, postdoctoral fellows, and adjunct faculty. It also has over 100 M.S. students and 70 Ph.D. students. The School has garnered $7.5M in new research expenditures and $34M in active awards for FY2018, reaching an average level of over $620,000 per faculty member.
