The Lattice and Effective Field Theory (L/EFT) group in the Physics Department at Duke University invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position starting September 1, 2020. Applicants should have received a Ph.D. in physics before the start date and have expertise in a research area of interest to the group. Topics of interest include but are not limited to: Soft-Collinear Effective Theory (SCET), lattice field theories, quantum chromodynamics, and applications of EFT to nuclear and high energy physics. Depending upon availability of funding, up to two positions may be filled. Faculty in the group include Shailesh Chandrasekharan, Tom Mehen, and Roxanne Springer.
