POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN EXPERIMENTAL NEUTRINO PHYSICS

Department of Physics and CERCA Case Western Reserve University

The experimental neutrino group at Case Western Reserve University is looking for a postdoctoral associate in experimental neutrino physics, with an emphasis on the Project 8 experiment. Project 8 is an international effort to measure the neutrino mass by doing high-precision spectroscopy of tritium using radiofrequency and atomic physics methods. In addition to Project 8, the group also works on low-energy neutrino and dark matter detection projects.

Experience in particle astrophysics, nuclear physics, or closely related fields is helpful, but we'll consider applicants with relevant atomic/molecular/optical or experimental astronomy/CMB instrumentation backgrounds. The position is available immediately.

Please send a cover letter, CV, statement of research interests, and contact information for three references to Prof. Ben Monreal via the address neutrino-postdoc-search@case.edu. The position remains open until filled.
