Research Assistant Professor Position in Condensed Matter Theory/Computational Materials Science
A position for a Research assistant professor will be opening in the research group of Prof. Adrienn Ruzsinszky with the earliest start date of January 1, 2021, in the area of Condensed Matter Theory/Computational Materials Science.
Applicants should have expertise and postdoctoral experience in the following areas: 1. Fundamentals of density functional theory (DFT) and time dependent density functional theory (TDDFT), 2. Strong background in programming in Python or Fortran, and 3. Computational work in DFT/TDDFT for solids and surfaces.
The salary will be commensurate with experience and achievement. Funding is available from NSF and DOE resources. The position is renewable, depending upon performance. The position remains open until filled.
