FACULTY POSITION OPENING â Management and Organizations Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management Cornell SC Johnson College of Business Cornell University The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business invites applications for a micro-organizational, tenure-track (Assistant or Untenured Associate Professor) position in our Management and Organizations Area. This position is intended for placement in the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, with a start date of July 2021. Possible research and teaching interests are broad and may include, but are not limited to: Leadership, groups and teams, negotiations, critical thinking, diversity and inclusion, ethics, or entrepreneurship. Responsibilities of the position include research in area(s)
of expertise, as well as teaching basic and advanced courses in management at
the BS, MPS, MBA, EMBA and/or Ph.D. levels, supervision of doctoral candidates,
and service to the Area, School, and College. The ideal candidate will have some years of previous faculty
experience. Note that applicants must have a Ph.D. (or be close to completion), in appropriate fields such as organization behavior, management, or social psychology.
The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business (established on
July 1, 2016) combines three Schools: the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School
of Management (Johnson), the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and
Management (Dyson), and the School of Hotel Administration (Hotel School). The
Johnson School offers MBA, Accelerated MBA, Executive MBA, and Ph.D.
programs. Courses and programs are
taught at Cornellâs main Ithaca campus, the Cornell Tech campus in New York
