The high energy theory and cosmology groups in the Department of Physics at the University of Michigan welcome applications for multiple postdoctoral positions starting in the Fall of 2021, in the areas of early universe physics, standard model physics, beyond the standard model physics, string theory, string phenomenology, quantum field theory, gravity, astro-particle physics (including dark matter and neutrino physics), and theoretical and computational cosmology.
Applicants for this position are automatically considered for prize fellowships as Leinweber Postdoctoral Fellows at the Leinweber Center For Theoretical Physics (LCTP - lctp.physics.lsa.umich.edu). The LCTP hosts multiple workshops every year in areas of interest, and LCTP Fellows will be able to benefit from and shape the scientific program of the Center. These positions will include a budget for research and travel expenses. Required Qualifications Ph.D. in Physics or related field. Background Screening
