| The APCTP, founded in 1996, is a non-governmental organization aiming for an international center dedicated to excellence in research and the training of young scientists in the Asia-Pacific region. The center is in Postech, one of the best science and engineering universities in Asia. It is located in the harbor city of Pohang, in the south-eastern part of Korea. It is well-connected to all the major cities in Korea via express train. The QFT/String Theory Group at APCTP/Postech is led by Jaemo Park, Hee-Cheol Kim, Gil Young Cho (Postech) and Dongmin Gang (APCTP). We work on various aspects of QFT, string theory, topological phases of matter and mathematical physics. The starting date can be negotiated. |
