| Asst Professor of Computer Science: Midwestern State University invites applications for tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Computer Science. Requires earned Ph.D. in Computer Science or closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in computer science field from an accredited US institution. Preference given to those with experience in cybersecurity, data science, graphics, or systems. Position involves teaching and advising undergraduate and graduate students, ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of students, assisting with recruitment, supervising student research, performing original research and publishing commensurate with the candidateâs level, and service to the university, profession and community. Teaching load is 12 hours (with a 3-hour reduction for teaching a Grad course). Teaching may involve evening and e-courses. The starting date of the position is August 16, 2021.
