The teaching load is the equivalent of five courses per year. The Department of Physics and Astronomy has five full-time faculty members with research interests in theoretical particle physics, observational astronomy, condensed matter physics, and materials science. The candidate would be welcome to engage undergraduate students in their research program, though this is not a requirement of the position.
