The Department of Engineering at Harvey Mudd College invites applications for a one-year visiting position for the 2021-22 academic year with the possibility of extension to a second year. The successful candidate will teach introductory electrical circuits and transistor-level analog circuit design, will be part of the sophomore systems engineering teaching team, and will advise a capstone design Clinic project team. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to involve students in original research. A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field and a demonstrated passion for teaching are required. Demonstrated ability to effectively teach students from diverse backgrounds will be considered among the criteria for appointment and should be addressed in the application.
