Occupational Summary

The Senior Research Associate position will provide leadership for the Cook Center research team for the National Asset Scorecard for Communities of Color (NASCC) in the quantitative data analysis for various projects within the NASCC studies.Specifically, the Senior Research Associate will work with the Cook Center scholars to analyze data on race, gender, ethnicity, wealth, identity and other variables on the NASCC and other related research and programs at the Center. Work Performed Provide leadership in performing complex statistical analyses for a broad spectrum of types of data and types of studies. Lead in preparing reports that summarize the analysis of research data, interpret the findings and provide conclusions and recommendations. Disseminate research results through policy briefs, talks, conferences, seminars or other oral and written presentations. Provide leadership in the preparation of policy briefs, manuscripts that are submitted for peer review publication. Required Qualifications at this Level Education/Training/Experience Position requires a Ph.D. degree in economics and or related field. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Flexible, collaborative and respectful style Advanced statistical knowledge and analytical skills Excellent organizational skills, demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, and the ability to supervise and delegate tasks. Experience working across a diverse range of projects focused on inequality.
